§ The Attorney-GeneralIn my unavoidable absence the Director of Public Prosecutions placed the papers in this case before my hon. and learned Friend the Solicitor-General with a strong recommendation that the evidence was insufficient to warrant proceedings. My hon. and learned Friend studied the papers and agreed. Since the hon. Member put down his Question I have studied the papers and I entirely agree with the Director and my hon. and learned Friend.
