§ Mr. William RossAs laid down in the terms and conditions of my consent to the South of Scotland Electricity112W Board's application under Section 2 of the Electric Lighting Act 1909 to the construction of a generating station on a site at Torness, the board has been consulting the planning authorities and other interested parties concerning detailed plans for the station. When these consultations have been completed the plans, together with the comments of the bodies consulted, will be submitted to me for approval.

§ Mr. William RossNone. Planning permission for use of the Torness site for the erection of a steam generating heavy water reactor nuclear power station was given on 5th February 1975. Detailed plans on which various bodies concerned are being consulted have not yet been submitted.
