127W
§ Dr. GilbertRecorded instances of bus or coach roofs collapsing are few, and no figures are available about the deaths or injuries they may have caused; none the less I intend to prescribe minimum strength requirements as soon as a suitable technical standard is available. Roll-over accidents are more frequent with cars, but roof collapse is seldom the primary cause of injury. I am, however, examining whether statutory requirements should be introduced.
