§ Mr. RowlandsUnited Kingdom citizens in Cyprus have frequently made known their concern over compensation through the United Kingdom Citizens' Association and individually—most recently on a visit of a senior Foreign and Commonwealth Office official to Cyprus in May. Her Majesty's Government are actively pursuing the question of payment of compensation with the Governments of Turkey and Cyprus, with whom responsibility lies.
