§ Mr. Bryant Godman Irvineasked the Minister for the Civil Service when the last review was made of those entitled to use first-class travel when on Government business; and if he will now undertake an urgent review of the list to ensure that in the present circumstances this privilege will be restricted only to those at highest level.
§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisThe use of first-class travel on Government business, in common with other conditions of service, is kept constantly under review by my Department. The Government have no proposals to alter the current arrangements, which have been arrived at through negotiation with the National Staff side and which take account inter alia of outside practice.
