§ Mr. Onslowasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will list the powers he has to compensate local authority ratepayers against the effect of applications for rate relief, under Section 40 of the General Rate Act 1967, on the part of organisations such as the Animal Virus Research Institute at Pirbright which draw most, if not all, of their funds from Government sources.
