§ Mr. Canavanasked the Prime Minister whether he proposes to meet Church leaders in view of the recent representations made to him about the effect of Government legislation on the future of Church lands.
§ The Prime MinisterI held a meeting with a deputation of Church leaders on 23rd April. I told them that the Government would consider what could be done within the principles of the Government's legislation to meet their representations.
