§ Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a statement on the industrial dispute that followed the attempt by the owners of the vessel "Mary Poppins" to inaugurate a new ferry service from Southampton to St. Malo.
§ Mr. BoothI understand that industrial action on both sides of the Channel prevented the inauguration and that talks are now taking place under an independent chairman between the Travemuende-Trelleborg Line and representatives of the British and French trade unions concerned.
