§ Mr. CroslandThe few representations which I have received so far have asked for a quantification of next year's likely rent increases and a curbing of interest rates. I have made it clear that in recent years rents have been meeting a declining 179W percentage of housing costs, and that in our present economic situation this trend must be reversed.
