HC Deb 10 June 1975 vol 893 c139W
Mrs. Winifred Ewing

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many representations he has had objecting to the proposed oil refinery at Nigg.

Mr. William Ross

I have received 24 representations from individuals or bodies, 18 against the proposal, six in favour. Ross and Cromarty County Council received 493 representations against, and 20 representations, including a petition with 400 signatures, in favour of the proposal. All these representations were examined in the public local inquiry which finished on 18th April.
