HL Deb 10 June 1975 vol 361 c300WA
Lord HOUGHTON of SOWERBY

asked Her Majesty's Government: Whether any licences have been granted for the export of live calves to Egypt and, if so, sow many and for what consignments.

Lord Beswick

It is not the practice to disclose information about the issue or non-issue of specific export licences. However, since the resumption of the export of live animals for slaughter or further fattening in January 1975 there have been no exports of such animals to non-EEC destinations.

House adjourned at a quarter past midnight.
