§ Mr. Andersonasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether, in the light of difficulties which have arisen in the allocation of planning responsibilities, he will seek to amend the Local Government Act 1972, with the aim of making clear the respective jurisdiction of county and district authorities in the field of planning.
§ Mr. John MorrisI am aware of certain difficulties that have arisen and am in close contact with local planning authorities. I do not think however that such problems justify further legislation.
