Mr. George Cunninghamasked the Attorney-General if he will introduce a Civil Law and Contempt of Court (Amendment) Bill to take account of recent reports on contempt and defamation and also to clarify the law on demonstrations other than in the pursuit of a trade dispute along the lines of Lord Denning's minority judgment in the case of Hubbard v Pitt.
