§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many claims under the Land Compensation Act 1973 have been received since 22nd June 1975 relating to the M6 Motorway, Birmingham; and what decisions have since been made on these claims.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThirty-one claims have been received. Fourteen have been accepted because the claimant had previously given notice of intention to claim. Twelve have been refused because they were not received within the time limit and five because they were not valid for other reasons.
