§ Mr. Hayhoeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will publish the latest actual traffic flows and the forecast traffic flows for the next three years, in vehicles two-way per hour (peak) and per 16-hour day at (a) A4 East of Hogarth roundabout, (b) A316 Burlington Lane, (c) A316 Harlington Road-South Circular Road and (d) A305.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThe latest traffic flows along the A316, for which the Greater London Council is the highway authority, were recorded in January 1975. There are no comparable counts for the A4 east of Hogarth roundabout.

The traffic capacity of the road system east of Hogarth roundabout and the capacity of the traffic signals at Stavely Road and Edensor Road are such that no material increases in traffic flow are likely on the A4 East of Hogarth or in Burlington Lane (A316). Future flows will depend on drivers' choice between 508W the fully costed commercial type accounting which has now been introduced.
