§ Mr. John FraserProposals by 24 local education authorities for schemes for language training at the place of work have been approved by the Government, and other authorities are considering the need for similar schemes. A small number of authorities whose schemes were approved have indicated, however, that they do not expect to introduce schemes in the current financial year, and I am keeping the position under close review.
