§ Mr. Tinnasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, in view of the current shortage of typhoid vaccine in the North-East, she will take steps to improve its distribution to meet the increased pressure of demand resulting from recent cases of infection and the approach of the holiday season.
§ Dr. OwenI understand that there is a temporary shortage of typhoid vaccines in single dose containers, but multi-doses of TAB vaccine or TAB and cholera combined vaccine are available to general practitioners and hospitals direct from the manufacturer. It is anticipated that further supplies of TAB vaccine in single doses will be available shortly.
