§ Mr. CarmichaelThe London end of the M3 was opened to traffic on 11th July 1974. I understand that the new road being constructed by the Greater London Council from the terminal point of the M3 to the Great Chertsey Road will be sufficiently far advanced to allow it to be opened to traffic by the end of the year.
