§ Mr. William RossAuthorities have been asked to base their future housing activities on a comprehensive assess-304W ment of housing needs in their areas. Detailed guidance on assessing these needs, including those of one-parent families, will be issued to authorities shortly. Consideration at present being given to the relevant recommendations of the Finer and Morris Committees will indicate whether further guidance should be offered.
