§ Mr. Edgeasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list in detail the Government's proposals for achieving their 188W long-term objective of maintaining full employment.
§ Mr. DellI would refer my hon. Friend to paragraphs 40–42 of the White Paper "The Attack on Inflation", Cmnd. 6151, where the Government's policies for the achievement of full employment are set out in some detail. The White Paper makes it clear that success in reducing the rate of inflation will itself improve employment by restoring confidence, promoting investment, and increasing export competitiveness.
