§ Mr. KaufmanThe percentage of imports to United Kingdom consumption varies cyclically, and has recently been abnormally high. Since 1970, the annual percentages are estimated to have been: 1970, 12 per cent.; 1971, 13 per cent.; 1972, 16 per cent.; 1973, 14 per cent.; 1974, 21 per cent. During the first three months of 1975, the percentage is estimated to be 24 per cent.
