§ Mr. Blakerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what information he has on the extent to which the price charged to growers of horticultural produce for natural gas in the Netherlands differs from the price charged to other consumers in that country.
§ Mr. BishopSuch information as we have indicates that the price currently charged for natural gas to growers of horticultural produce in the Netherlands, and which was set by the Dutch national gas company in 1974, is lower than that charged to some industrial users. We have no information on specific contract prices but I understand that, as in this country, prices charged vary according to the situation at the time a particular contract is signed.
