§ Mr. Farrasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether both Great Britain and France have agreed to be bound by the finding of the international tribunal now at work on the demarcation lines for oil, gas and mineral exploration in the English Channel and the Western Approaches.

Member is referring to the Arbitration Agreement signed in Paris on 10th July by the United Kingdom and France to submit the delimitation of our Continental Shelf boundary in the Channel and Western Approaches west of 30 minutes west of the Greenwich meridian to a Court of Arbitration, in which case the answer is "Yes". A copy of the Agreement will be placed in the House of Commons Library shortly.
