§ Mr. Walter Johnsonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will introduce a Pensions (Increase) Bill at an early date so that pensioners are not affected by the Government's proposals to limit increases to 10 per cent. during the next 12 months.
§ Mr. Robert Sheldon,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 7th July 1975; Vol. 895, c. 61], gave the following information:
The Government are considering the implications for public service pensions of the White Paper "The Attack on Inflation" (Cmnd. 6151). A statement will be made as soon as possible.
