Mr. Michael McNair-Wilson

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what recent discussions he has had with the National Farmers' Union about the cost of milk production; and whether he has any proposals to increase the price per gallon to the farmer;

(2) what discussions he has had with the Agriculture Ministers of the EEC about reappraising the price paid to dairy farmers for milk.

As regards milk production costs and the price paid to United Kingdom producers, I have nothing to add to the replies given to the hon. Member for Wells (Mr. Boscawen) and other hon.
