Langford-Holtasked the Secretary of State for Industry, as on 24th June 1974 the Post Office increased its redirection charges for letters by 50 per cent. for one month's redirection, by 166 per cent. for three months' redirection and by 150 per cent. for one year's redirection, whether he will give a general direction to the Post Office that it should limit its price rises to the level of the rise in the cost of living.
