§ 97. Mrs. Winifred Ewingasked the Prime Minister what proposals were made for the future of the Scottish film industry at the meeting which he had on 13th May 1975 at 10 Downing Street.
§ The Prime MinisterMy discussions with representatives of all sides of the industry on 13th May were exploratory and not designed to consider specific proposals or the future of any one sector of the industry. If those concerned with the future of the Scottish film industry have matters to which they would wish to draw attention, it would be helpful if they would inform the Department of Trade so that it can be brought to the attention of the working party which I am establishing.
