§ Mrs. CastleI took part in the annual conference of the National Conference for One-Parent Families: I received delegations from the TUC and from the Post Office Engineering Union, which both wished to discuss the problems of lone parents and their children. My departmental ministerial colleagues have met representatives of the National Council for One-Parent Families, Gingerbread and the Child Poverty Action Group.
