§ The Prime MinisterMy Press Secretary announced on 19th June the decision to discontinue unattributable Press briefings given daily, or twice daily, to Lobby journalists. The reasons for this decision were fully set out in his letter to the Chairman of the Lobby, a copy of which has been placed in the Library of the House.
