§ 25. Sir John Gilmourasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what has been the value and volume of white fish and herring landed at Scottish ports in 1975 to the nearest convenient date; and how this compares with the same period last year.
§ Mr. Hugh D. BrownBritish vessels landed 109,000 tons of white fish worth £17.4 million and 39,000 tons of herring worth £3.4 million in Scotland in the period 1st January to 7th June 1975. In the comparable period for 1974 there were landings of 130,000 tons of white fish worth £21.9 million and 54,000 tons of herring worth £5.9 million.
