§ 46. Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make a statement on the implementation of her policy on common waiting lists for National Health Service patients and private patients.
§ Mrs. CastleI greatly regret that according to newspaper reports hospital consultants have rejected any possibility of introducing a common waiting list, without waiting for the consultation which I promised and have reversed their previous negotiating position when they said they were prepared to discuss the details of any scheme.
