§ Lord James Douglas-Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland, now that a decision in principle has been made to accommodate the future Scottish Assembly in the old Royal High School building, opposite the Scottish Office, with the result that the Edinburgh Corporation Art Gallery will be displaced, if he will offer the old John Watson School building to Edinburgh Corporation for purchase as a possible art gallery for the city.
§ Mr. William RossOwnership of John Watson's School is vested in the Governors of the John Watson's Trust, not in me. So far as concerns the location of the Scottish Assembly, I have nothing to add to the reply given to the hon.
