§ Mr. Denis HowellWater authorities have power to accept payment of charges in monthly instalments, and this is widely used, particularly where water charges are collected with the general rate. I am confident that water authorities will treat sympathetically any further requests to pay by instalments from people who might otherwise suffer hardship.
