HC Deb 04 July 1975 vol 894 c565W
Mr. Raphael Tuck

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received from the non-metropolitan counties about the level of assistance for the provision of bus subsidies as part of their responsibility to co-ordinate public passenger transport under the terms of Section 203 of the Local Government Act 1972; and what replies he has sent.

Dr. Gilbert

A number of representations have been received about the allowance for bus revenue support included in the distribution of transport supplementary grant to non-metropolitan counties for 1975–76. The replies have been along the lines of my hon. Friend's reply to the hon. Member for Bosworth (Mr. Butler) on 16th June.—[Vol. 893, c. 330.]
