§ 45. Mr. Hoosonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will take steps to assist the improvement of facilities on upland farms for the conservation of fodder.
§ Mr. StrangGrant aid is already available to all farms for the provision of silos and farm buildings generally. Farms with a development plan under the Farm512W and Horticultural Development Scheme may also be eligible for grant on farm machinery. As announced in the Annual Review White Paper (Cmnd. 5977), we are studying ways of encouraging better use and conservation of grass.
