§ Mr. FootThe Health and Safety Commission, with my consent, has directed that an inquiry be held in public by Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Mines and Quarries, Mr. James Carver. The commission has set up the inquiry under powers contained in Section 14(2)(b) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
