§ 64. Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement about the progress of talks both between Her Majesty's Government and the Guatemalan Government and between Her Majesty's Government and the delegation from Belize's Government which recently visited London.
§ Mr. RowlandsWe have had two meetings this year with the Guatemalans. Various proposals for settlement of the dispute 437W with Guatemala have been examined but no conclusions have yet been reached. Further meetings are proposed. The Belizean delegation which visited London in June had discussions with Her Majesty's Government about the dispute, and aid and administrative matters.
