§ 9. Mr. Churchillasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will propose measures to safeguard the rights of trade unionists belonging to minority unions whose jobs or membership of the union of their choice may be jeopardised by the establishment of a closed shop in their place of work.
§ Mr. BoothMy right hon. Friend has proposed various provisions in the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act, the Amendment Bill and the Employment Protection Bill which will enable closed shop agreements to be operated flexibly with regard to the position of minorities and has no further measure to propose.
