§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he expects to be able to announce a decision about the establishment and the site of the new observatory planned by the Science Research Council.
§ Mr. MulleyThe Science Research Council is considering how a new observatory in the northern hemisphere might best be provided for the use of the United Kingdom astronomers. The council has not yet submitted any specific proposals to me, but I understand that it hopes to do so later this year.
