§ Mr. John FraserIn May 1975 the total number of unemployed who had last worked in the construction industry was 150,000. The Government has taken several steps to aid construction, particularly house building, but unemployment in construction may well rise in the context of the general increase in unemployment expected during the remainder of 1975.
