asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he has decided the level of quota of British films to be shown by exhibition during the year beginning 1st January 1976.

The Cinematograph Films Council has recommended that there should be no change in the level

Mr. Maclennan

Percentage increases over the most recent six-months' period for which statistics are available are as follows:

of exhibitors quota at 30 per cent. for first feature films and 25 per cent. for supporting programme for the year beginning 1st January 1976. This advice has been accepted.
