§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will revise minimum Parker Morris standards to permit the contribution by local authorities, in suitable environments, of larger numbers of dwellings with one or two bedrooms.
§ Mr. FreesonI am in favour of the construction of larger numbers of such dwellings where there is a need for them, but Parker Morris standards do not prevent this. If the hon. Member knows of a difficulty in this context I should be grateful if he would write to me about it.
