asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will consider proposing to amend the law to meet the difficulty in which a pensioner finds himself, where he has available accommodation, other than that he occupies, which he has let at a rent of £1—£2 per week, where the rented property has repairs which total more than £100 per annum, and as a consequence of the rent freeze, outgoings are as great or greater than the rent received.
