§ The PARLIAMENTARY UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE, NORTHERN IRELAND OFFICE (Lord Donaldson of Kingsbridge)The Housing Executive's proposals for rent increase, coupled with a comprehensive rent rebate scheme, are being examined by the Government, and an announcement will be made shortly. The proposals envisage progress in the rationalisation of the rent structures, of which there were more than sixty, inherited from the previous housing authorities.
