§ Mr. DellAt the Heads of Government Conference in December member States agreed that the aim of their economic policies should be to combat inflation and maintain employment. In the financial field the EEC countries were completely united during the recent Washington meetings on the need to set up additional international measures of recycling and financial support to mitigate the risks of serious recession, in addition to the agreement at the end of last year on the establishment of a joint EEC borrowing scheme.
