§ Mr. Orbachasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether she will take steps to see that in the near future three of the four operating theatres at Stepping Hill, Stockport, are either upgraded by modernisation or replaced by new modern theatres, in view of the closures there due to bacterial content, and the representations of consultants and their surgical teams about the consequential delays and inefficiencies.
§ Dr. OwenThe regional and area health authorities are considering possible schemes for improving the theatre92W facilities at Stepping Hill, but given current financial constraints I cannot forecast when a scheme would be implemented.
§ Mr. Orbachasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many consultants left the Stepping Hill Hospital of the old Stockport and Buxton Hospital Management Group, to take posts abroad in the years 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, and 1974, respectively.
