§ Mr. HattersleyAccording to the EEC Official Journal, of which copies are available in the Library of the House, the number of regulations, directives and decisions issued between 1st January 1973 and 15th January 1975 is 8,164. The vast majority of these are Commission instruments concerned mainly with the day-to-day administration of the common agricultural policy.
