Mrs. Renée Short

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) how many domestic washing machines were imported from Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway during each of the last 10 years; what was their value imported from each country; and what were the names of the principal manufacturers or the brand names;

(2) how many domestic refrigerators were imported from Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway during each of the last 10 years; what was their value imported from each country; and what were the names of the principal manufacturers or the brand names.
