§ Mr. Andrew F. Bennettasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) how many patients had been waiting for operations at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, for more than three, six, nine and 12 months, at the latest convenient date; and for which types of operations the waiting lists are longest;
(2) how many hours of normal operating time are available at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, per week; and by how much this falls short of the amount of time for which consultants engaged at that hospital are contracted to be available to carry out operations.
