§ Mr. ArmstrongFollowing is the information for January 1974, the latest available, expressed in terms of new authority areas. The primary school population in England and Wales as a whole is projected to decrease by about 15 per cent. by January 1982. It is not considered meaningful to project figures for the individual new authorities for a period so far ahead.
